Social Media Manager

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to lead the social media presence of The Shampoo Lounge and Bali Barber across all Bali locations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can combine strategy, content planning, team management, influencer coordination, and commercial awareness. The successful candidate will be responsible for building brand visibility, maintaining a premium online presence, supporting bookings and promotions, and ensuring social media activity is aligned with business goals.

Based in Seminyak, this role covers all Bali locations and requires someone who can manage both the creative output and the people involved in delivering it.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the social media strategy for both brands across all Bali locations
Plan, create, schedule, and oversee content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms
Develop monthly content calendars, campaign plans, and promotional activity
Ensure all content reflects a premium, polished, and consistent brand image
Coordinate content creation including photo shoots, video shoots, Reels, Stories, captions, and campaign assets
Be confident on camera and comfortable appearing in content when required
Work closely with location teams to identify content opportunities, promotions, events, service highlights, and customer stories
 

Monitor engagement, messages, comments, and community interaction across platforms
Track performance and provide regular reporting, insights, and recommendations to improve results
Coordinate activities with influencers, creators, and brand collaborators, including outreach, scheduling, briefing, and follow-up
 

Support business growth by creating content and campaigns that increase reach, engagement, inquiries, and bookings
Team Management
Manage direct reports within the social media/content team
Delegate tasks, set priorities, and ensure deadlines are met
Review and approve content before publishing
Maintain quality control and consistency across all output
Coach and support junior team members to improve performance and accountability
Create clear workflows and structure within the social media function
 

Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content management
Previous experience managing staff or direct reports
Strong experience with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and digital content trends
Experience coordinating with influencers or partnership campaigns
Strong copywriting and communication skills in English
Intermediate level English is required
Excellent eye for content, branding, and visual presentation
Confident on camera and comfortable acting as a face of the brand for selected social media content
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple brands and locations
Commercially aware and able to align content with marketing and sales objectives
Experience in beauty, hospitality, wellness, grooming, lifestyle, or premium service brands preferred

Location
